How much does towing cost in Serbia – what the price depends on
The price of a tow is not the same in every situation. It usually consists of a call-out fee and a price per kilometre, plus possible extras.
What affects the price
- Distance – from where the tow truck is to you, and from you to the destination.
- Time and day – nights, weekends and holidays are often more expensive.
- Type of vehicle – a van, SUV or light truck needs a stronger tow truck than a small car.
- Condition of the vehicle – a car that cannot be pushed, has a damaged wheel or is in a ditch needs more work and equipment.
- Urgency – “right now” costs more than transport booked for tomorrow.
How to pay less
The biggest difference in price is between a tow truck that is already nearby and one coming from far away. That is why in the Prevezi app your request first goes to available tow trucks near you and to those driving back empty in your direction – they can often offer a lower price.
Instead of calling services one by one, post the request once and get several offers: each with a price, arrival time and ratings from other customers. You choose the one that suits you.
How you pay
You pay the carrier directly, at the agreed price from the offer, in Serbian dinars (RSD). Before the tow starts, check whether unloading at the destination is included.
Breakdown, accident or a car that won’t start – the tow truck comes to your location.
